Millions of people from all walks of life are living
with viral hepatitis and are at increased risk for serious liver
disease, liver cancer, and even death.
But today, we have more knowledge and medicines than ever before to prevent or stop the spread of viral #hepatitis and save lives.
LET'S UNDERSTAND HEPATITIS BASICS
Viral hepatitis is an infection that affects the
liver. There are at least five different types of
Hepatitis (A-E), with the three most common types being
Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C .
Hepatitis A is an acute infection and people
usually improve without treatment. Hepatitis B and
Hepatitis C can cause a chronic, persistent infection, which can
lead to chronic liver disease.
Chronic (long-lasting) hepatitis C infections may be treated with antiviral medications such as #Sofosbuvir 400 mg, #Daclatasvir 60 mg, #Ledipasvir 90 mg, #Ribavirin Capsules etc. Liver transplants may be necessary if the liver is severely damaged.
