The CMVP designation is the most recognised certification in measurement and verification (M&V) - the process of planning, measuring, collecting, and analysing data for the purposes of verifying and reporting energy savings within an individual facility resulting from the implementation of energy conservation measures (ECMs). Simply put, M&V provides verifiable proof of the effectiveness of an organisation and/or building energy management practices. During this three-day course, participants will be exposed to: The IPMVP protocol, which provides a methodology for determining savings using various cost-effectiveness and accuracy tests. The vital calculations and data necessary in M&V projects. The specifics of what is included in the development of an M&V plan. Determining in what types of projects, contracts, programs, and accounting scenarios in which M&V should be utilised. The key factors affecting M&V costs. This training prepares you to carry out your own M&V projects and develop your own basic plans as well as prepare you to take on the CMVP exam and earn this impactful professional designation awarded by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
