Description

Red River College Polytechnic’s energy-related courses in the form of micro-credentials provide the skills needed to demonstrate competencies and become registered, providing value to both employees and employers. Developed in partnership with Manitoba Environmental Industries Association (MEIA), Efficiency Manitoba and RRC Polytech Building Efficiency Technology Access Centre, this three-month micro-credential program prepares you to become a registered Energy Advisor (EA) and is the only training of its kind provided by a Canadian post-secondary institution. With the Government of Canada’s Greener Homes Initiative providing free EnerGuide energy audits for 1 million homes in Canada, registered EAs are needed. This initiative, combined with a shortage of EAs across Canada, provides the opportunity for immediate employment in an in-demand and rewarding field. The specialized skills training provided by RRC Polytech’s in-house subject matter experts and dynamic applied research facilities provide the knowledge required to pass the NRCan examination and earn your certification.
