The 6 week Steel Stud and Drywall program is delivered in Regina, Prince Albert, and Saskatoon, and in various community locations. The program includes classroom and hands on training, life skills training, career planning, and safety tickets. Drywall installers and finishers install and finish drywall sheets and various types of ceiling systems. Lathers install support framework for ceiling systems, interior and exterior walls and building partitions. Graduates will find entry level work as drywall installers or lathers with construction companies, plastering, drywalling and lathing contractors, or they may be self-employed.
