Strategies for Reducing Thermal Energy Demand Intensity DURATION: 1.5 hours 1.5 GBCI general education hours. As building energy requirements become more stringent and new targets evolve, new strategies to achieve those targets need to be integrated into projects. This course will describe design and process strategies for reducing thermal energy demand intensity (TEDI), including envelope, building massing and orientation, and ventilation system strategies. The course will also describe potential synergies with low TEDI design, such as resilience and occupant comfort. . This course is delivered by Alex Blue of Evoke Buildings Engineering.
