Now begin placing the flowers in the vase. As you place each stem just twist your vessel a little every time so that you can look the arrangement and how each stem looks from various angles. Start with the densest stem, the one with most foliage and end with the lightest one. Remember to give some height to your arrangement. You can do this by adding tall, vertical stems such as grass, branches and twigs to the center of the vase.

Add all the stems and flowers in a tripod shape. Mix different colors, lengths and sizes of stems and blooms in the arrangement to add a visual interest. Ensure there is adequate spaces between the stems and flowers. Your foliage needs to breathe as well. Your elegant floral arrangement is ready!
