Start from determining the length of the garland. It should take around 30 minutes to an hour to create one. Then decide on what plants, flowers and other embellishments you would like to include in the garland and proceed to collect all the plant materials. For the base of our garland, we have used 3-4 bunches of Pine foliage cut about 7 to 8 inches long and 4 to 5 inches wide. Make sure that the stem is leafy and full.

Gather the bunches and wrap each of them with floral wire. Tie them loosely so it looks natural and stay open. Introduce other foliage and leaves so that the end of the foliage covers the stems.
