Varying Calories

Just another reminder here on the importance of varying your caloric intake on the Abs on the Go diet; if you do not vary your caloric intake, you will plateau eventually and the diet will cease to work for you. For this reason, it is wise to vary your caloric intake on a daily basis.

Here is an example. Say you have a goal of taking in 2500 calories per day. Then you can take in 1500 calories one day, 2500 calories the next day, and 3500 calories the day after that. Then you can go back to 2500 calories and then to 1500 calories. Going back and forth like this will produce the best results.

You can also increase your caloric intake on the weekends. The rule of thumb is not to increase the weekend caloric intake to more than 25% of the weekday intake, at least at first. Once you become accustomed to the diet, you can begin to adjust this amount on your own.
