If you or someone you know is only concerned with controlling weight rather than building a lean, cut body, then the Abs on the Go diet can still work. Of course, it is preferable if the diet is actually viewed as more of a lifestyle, but a full lifestyle change can be very difficult.

On the other hand, dieting can be extremely difficult and in general diets can feel overwhelming. The Abs on the Go diet can be used as a way to control and maintain your desired weight. When you find it difficult or undesirable to follow a regimented diet, you can eat your normal diet until you find your weight getting out of control.

Once you need to put a stop on weight gain, say you have gained 5-6 pounds; you can switch to the Abs on the Go diet for 6-8 weeks in order to lose the weight. Then you can go back to your regular way of eating. However, no matter what diet you choose to follow, please remember that you must eat in a healthy manner with lots of fresh fruits and vegetables and very little refined foods and sugar.
