With them you can see in the same time period how many visits came to your site with the percentage that were purely social visits, or visits to your blog. Blog Traffic
Most startups use a blog for driving traffic. You can use this advanced segment within standard or custom reporting to see your blog's direct impact on your company.

1. From the "standard reporting" view click "advanced segments" in the top left.
2. Under the custom segments box on the right click "+ New Custom Segment"
3. In the drop down select "include" > "Landing Page" > "Begins with" then enter the url destination for your blog. ie for us it is "/blog/"
