Serves 1-2
This healthy version of a strawberry milkshake will bring back
memories of your childhood. Luckily, it has less than a quarter of
the calories and none of the artificial flavours or colours found
in traditional fast-food milkshakes, so you won't feel guilty
drinking it.
Ingredients:
• 1 cup frozen strawberries
• 1 frozen, ripe banana, chopped
• 2/3 cup apple juice
Instructions:
1. Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender
in the order listed and blend until smooth.
2. Serve immediately.
Did you know?
A popular strawberry milkshake from a well known fast food chain,
that shall remain nameless, has 720 calories and 104 grams of sugar
(that's the equivalent of 26 teaspoons) not to mention a good dose
of artifical colours, flavours and preservatives. Consider yourself
informed!
