12. Invitations to “Raise your hand”

As the Values express, this network/movement should give every basecamper the opportunity to enjoy the meaningfuless, learnings and frustrations that come with ownership, participation and collaboration. Some clear opportunities to do so are:

a) Development of the re•base community

Help to answer the critical questions that lie before the re•base community:

  • What should "membership" in re•base entail and cost?
  • Does re•base need a budget (right now) big enough to fund a professional non-profit operation?
  • How should the generic "holacracy" framework be implemented for our purposes?

b) Upcoming basecamps

Help to answer the critical questions that stand between here and the next series of basecamps:

  • What is the right funding model for a basecamp? And what is the right way to communicate the value of taking part in a basecamp?
  • How should we schedule upcoming basecamps, and how should that be decided?
  • (How) Can members self-organize basecamps within the re•base community?

c) Upcoming festival in London for late 2020

We want to get a small group of people, led by an experienced festival organizer, to explore the announcement of a future Summit.
