Expose the slab-on-grade floor at penetrations and interfaces. Consider removing all existing floor coverings, if present, to expose cracks in the concrete.Seal along the slab edge, cracks in the floor, at interfaces, and around penetrations. This can be done with spray polyethylene sealant, polyurethane sealant, or crack fill kits. Alternatively, mesh and thin-set mortar can be applied to seal cracks in the concrete floor.
