Wesley Normington

How do I break into the non-profit world? What NGOs are working on energy issues? Are there key skills that will help me find a leadership position? Join us for a bonus Becoming x In the Green Chair event, featuring Wesley Normington of Relay Education to learn about becoming a non-profit director.

Wesley Normington is the Executive Director of Relay Education and has worked in the Canadian charitable sector for 15 years. Wesley began his career in the non-profit sector as a program manager in disaster relief - working on water purification and emergency medical projects in a diverse group of countries. This gave Wesley first-hand experiences of the effects global warming is having across the globe, inspiring him to shift his career to the fight against climate change. Since 2011, Wesley has worked with a dedicated team to launch Relay Education as a leader in renewable energy education across Canada, and recently, into the United States. Wesley has an Honors Degree in Political Science from the University of Western Ontario and has served on the Board of Directors for the WindShare Co-operative since 2017.
