FLUSH: Five cards of the same suit (not all consecutive). Remember, consecutive cards of the same suit would be a Straight Flush. If there is more than one flush at the showdown, the flush with the highest card wins. If it is the same, the second highest cards are compared and so on. If the flushes are identical - all 5 cards of the same ranking - the result is a split pot. In our example below, this King High Flush would beat all other flushes except one with an Ace. If another flush had a King, Jack, 8, 3, 2, it would win because the second highest card below is a 9.
