Volunteer Jobs

Here are all the volunteer jobs required for the sale:

- Book Collection: help receive, count, move donated boxes to the basement for sorting. Keep track of the number of books donated and to whose homeroom they should be awarded.

- Sorting: sort through the donated books and categorize.

- Set-up: set-up tables, shelves, milk crates, etc.

- Shelving/Pricing: alphabetize/categorize, shelve, and price donated items.

- Volunteer Night: work sales/cash, tidy books, etc.

- Children's Day: sales/cash, help children find books, tidy, odd jobs, etc.

- Sale to General Public: sales/cash & floor work.

- Clean-up: box books, take down tables, shelves, tidy up.

Other jobs that require recruitment are:

- Money counting: help count money during the sale

- Greeters (usually high school students): greet customers at the door and direct them to the sale, help those with mobility issues to use the elevator
