Instructions for Ordering and Setting up Pinpads

BEFORE THE SALE

Consult the document you have received separately with Moneris account information, banking information and passwords. Will need to reset password every year with Moneris.

Call Moneris (1-855-423-7293) to inform them that you would like to order two pinpads. (When prompted by phone system, press to access information about "PAYD".)

PINPAD SET UP

Pinpads need to be paired with iPads. Request two iPads and two chargers from principal at least a week in advance, along with iTunes passwords for iPads.

Will also need to purchase or borrow two charger cubes for the pinpads.

Charge pinpads fully upon arrival and before set up.

Download PAYD (not PAYDPro) apps from Apple App Store.

Pair iPads to pinpaids via Bluetooth. Technical support available via Moneris (1-855-423-7293).

Once pinpads are paired, enable quick pay, set pinpad as default, enable quick login.

TO ENABLE QUICK PAY
Login

In menu (three lines at top left) go to settings, interface, QUICK PAY)

SET PINPAD AS DEFAULT (as opposed to keying in each card)

TO ENABLE QUICK LOGIN

In menu (three lines at top left), go to settings, quick login, PIN login, set a 4 digit login.

AFTER THE SALE

Call Moneris (1-855-423-7293) to inform them that you would like to return the pinpads. (When prompted by phone system, press to access information about "PAYD".)

Will need to give them the MONCE # located on the back of the device.

Can either have return label emailed to you and have UPS come to pick up from you or have them send UPS to the school. If having the devices picked up from the school, ask them to pick up by 3:30 pm.
