Test, Test, Test!

Before you invest any more time, money or resources in your start-up, make sure your business idea can work in the market you selected. This is where you can use the research you gathered in Task 1 to see if the products/services you are offering to customers are actually needed.

Another good way to test your idea is through cost-per-click advertising. The ease and speed of today's web marketing tools, such as Google AdWords, Bing adCenter, and Facebook ads allow you to set up trackable advertising campaigns that are targeted for specific demographics. They will give you a good indication of what people in your specific geographical region, age group, etc. are searching for.

You can then use this valuable information for a multitude of purposes including incorporating feedback from customers into your business model, making improvements to your product or service, and identifying a niche market for your business.
