This section applies to:

a) Buildings of residential occupancy to which Part 9 applies

b) Buildings containing business and personal services, mercantile or low-hazard industrial occupancies whose combines total floor area is not more than 300 m2

c) Buildings containing a mix of residential and non-residential occupancies as described in a) and b)
