How to comply with the Energy Performance Path?

The modelled annual energy consumption of the Proposed House is not allowed to be greater than the Energy Target of the Reference House.

Energy Calculations Include:

• Space heating, ventilation, service water heating, space cooling (if installed)
• Back-up equipment can be excluded if it has controls, and isn't needed to meet the space-conditioning loads
• Default Schedule for Internal Gain Loads
• Space Heating set-points (heating turns on when indoor temperatures go below the listed values)
  • 21 °C in all living spaces above the basement
  • 19 °C in basements and common spaces
  • 15 °C in crawl spaces intended to be conditioned spaces
• Space Cooling set-point (cooling turns on when indoor temperatures go above the listed value)
  • 25 °C in all conditioned spaces
