Application of Referenced Documents
- Except as provided in Sentence (2), the provisions of documents referenced in this Code, and of any documents referenced within those documents, apply only to the extent that they relate to
- buildings, and
- the objectives and functional statements attributed to the applicable acceptable solutions in Division B where the documents are referenced.

- Where a provision of this Code references another National Model Code, the applicable objectives and functional statements shall include those found in that referenced National Model Code. (See Note A-2.1.1.2.(6).)
