What is a MAGMA, who are their members and what do they do?

There are many MAGMAS across the program. The MAGMA is the hub or core team of each project (i.e. enabling, investigations etc.). Using the Temporary Loading Dock as an example, that MAGMA has a project manager from PSPC, the Parliamentary Partners, Centrus and PCL-ED in Joint Venture. These individuals, communicate effectively in part, by sitting near each other, which drives transparency to their work and facilitates effective and timely decision making. It is key to understand the roles and responsibilities of each Magma member, which will reduce duplication of work and based on trust provide opportunities to effectively back-brief. Discussions on roles and responsibilities have been underway by the management team and will be communicated to greater team via specific tool roll-out (i.e. last planner system)
