Action Options to Consider

By the end of the in-person portion of basecamp:London, it is hoped that participants will be able to:

  1. Identify opportunities to help students refine problem solving skills through the development of core competencies.
  2. Take inspiration from the discussion and work of the Re-Thinking Education table from basecamp:Toronto to launch or augment existing work underway (see Appendix 1 for Notes from basecamp:Toronto)
  3. Facilitate the identification, implementation and scaling up of effective innovations that promote student learning and engagement.
  4. Encourage the design and development of new products, services, platforms, systems and models to enable educators to adapt with a rapidly changing educational environment and continue to engage learners in order to prepare them for the challenges they will face in the next 50 to 100 years.
