By the end of the in-person portion of basecamp:London, it is hoped that participants will be able to:
- Identify opportunities to help students refine problem solving skills through the development of core competencies.
- Take inspiration from the discussion and work of the Re-Thinking Education table from basecamp:Toronto to launch or augment existing work underway (see Appendix 1 for Notes from basecamp:Toronto)
- Facilitate the identification, implementation and scaling up of effective innovations that promote student learning and engagement.
- Encourage the design and development of new products, services, platforms, systems and models to enable educators to adapt with a rapidly changing educational environment and continue to engage learners in order to prepare them for the challenges they will face in the next 50 to 100 years.
