About the technology
The ALEC Smart LED conversion (SLC) kit comprises two strips of high-efficacy LED lamps, a LED driver and a powerful, configurable lighting controller with integrated occupancy sensor and daylight meter. The SLC is designed to convert any 2 or 4-ft fluorescent fixture into an intelligent LED light in under 10 minutes, with almost zero-disruption to day-to-day operations.

Without activity for 2 minutes, the converted Smart LED light automatically and gently dims down to a low but safe dim-level of 10-20% of full brightness, consuming just 4W electricity. Upon motion detection, each normally dimmed light immediately, but smoothly brightens up to full brightness. Timings and dim-levels are all configurable through trim-ports or the included USB port and phone app.
