Most visitors don't want to miss out on an opportunity.
Scarcity helps push them along into taking the action you
desire.
Some ways in which you can create scarcity:
- Limited stock (Evaluate)
- Whenever something is in short supply, people will act fast
in order not to miss out.
- Limited bonuses
(Evaluate) - Offer limited bonuses to help propel prospects to
move forward with a purchase to obtain those bonuses. You can
switch out bonuses to see which ones have the highest impact on
conversions.
- Free for a Limited Time
(Evaluate) - By revealing the product will cost $XX-XXX in the
not too distant future, it instantly adds tangible value and will
motivate people to sign up now whilst it's still free.
- Limited number by certain
date (Evaluate) - Adding a time crunch pushes visitors to act
now - before they lose out. Correct Example:

- Time based price increase
(Evaluate) - Seeing as price is a major conversion influencer
for most products, tactics that offer a cheaper price the sooner
someone acts can increase conversion. Nobody wants to feel ripped
off by over-paying for something they could've got cheaper, so this
plays on a strong psychological chord.
- Expiration on offer
(Evaluate) - Use a ticking count script to show visitors
exactly how much time there is left to take advantage of the offer.
Correct Example:

- Rare opportunity
(Evaluate) - When something is rare, it exponentially increases
the value of the event. For example, Anthony Robbins holds a 'Date
with Destiny' seminar:
"Held only twice anywhere in the world this year!"
