No one person has all the necessary information. Recognise the value of deferring decisions to those with other information and perspectives. Check in with others who are affected to learn their trade-offs.

For example, when choosing a technical platform, it's easy to think that decision should be left to the technical cofounders. But this omits all of the business implications of their decisions, like hiring, support response-time and working with partners. Awareness is key here.
