Define Your Current Sales Funnels

In this step the goal is to set up every possible "on-boarding process" you have for getting signups. It's important to understand sales funnels to optimize your on-boarding process:

A sales funnel identifies every step a user takes toward becoming a customer. For example:

  1. A user lands on website Homepage
  2. Clicks on product page
  3. Clicks on Purchase
  4. Checks out
  5. Completes transaction and receives confirmation email

And a classic signup process for an online product or service:

  1. A user lands on Homepage
  2. Clicks on "Learn more"
  3. Clicks on "sign up now"
  4. Enters user information
  5. Sees confirmation page and receives welcome email

In the attached Excel file, enter all the possible funnels for "on-boarding" your customers.

Note: if you have several "product pages" (for instance you sell t-shirts and you have lots of t-shirt pages), don't list every one of your product pages as a sales funnel... just include it once.

Note 2: However, if you have multiple signup pages (signup from the homepage, signup from the pricing page, special landing pages, etc... include each one).
