Now that you have assigned programs and specific tasks to everyone on your team, revisit the team activities that you worked on in the second section of this guide and add the new responsibilities.
At this point you should notice some tasks on that list that you can just stop doing, or demote to much less important given your new focus.
Now is the time to start cutting tasks and responsibilities to really get yourself and your team focused on your one metric. Stop, reduce, or outsource everything that doesn't contribute to your Core Metric or isn't critical to the functioning of the business. If an activity doesn't help you grow or make your product or service better, then stop doing it.
Leadership is about empowering people to not do things as much as it is about inspiring them to get things done.
