Here's a video I created in Winter 2017, after my first season of snowskating. Music, appropriately is "Cohesion" by the Minutemen.

As you can see, I'm still a beginner. But, the stoke-level of each of those turns is so much higher than what I experienced from over 25 years of snowboarding. Sure, on a good pow-day out of bounds in the Rockies, the challenge was high on my LTD 165. But, at a usual resort in normal conditions, I get about as much from walking around as I do from snowboarding, after having done it for that long.
