John Radko, Chief Architect of OpenText's Information Exchange Division (which recently acquired GXS), leads the Enterprise Architecture team, coordinating the development and implementation of Information Exchange's technology strategy across development, services, and operation.
As a member of the OpenText IX leadership team, he advises on technology, coordinates and encourages technology advancement in companies. D;A;John's current projects include governing the architecture of the OpenText Trading Grid, driving the use of shared services and a consistent architecture, and working with colleagues to accelerate the use of cloud computing technology and web services within the OpenText Trading Grid.
John joined GXS from the University of Maryland, and has held a variety of positions within engineering, including project lead, build manager and engineering manager, before joining the Engineering Staff first as Chief Architect, then as GXS's Chief Technology Strategist. John assumed his current role when GXS was acquired by OpenText in January of 2014.D;A;John has been a contributor to the advent and advancement of 'software-as-a-service' in B2B integration. He has advised dozens of companies on how best to deploy and leverage hosted supply chain automation solutions and how to achieve true B2B integration on a global scale.
