Map The Topics You Want To Discuss

Now you need to decide exactly what it is you need to learn about. You want to understand the people you are taking to....what are their aspirations and problems?

The only way to get this information is to get your interviewees talking. So you want to prompt users to tell specific stories that cover certain topics that will help validate your persona, and help you to make better product decisions.

The most reliable information comes from asking interviewees to tell stories about recent life experiences, not yes or no questions. Remember, you want to hear them talk about things that it would never have occurred to you to ask.
