The Sustainable Technologies Evaluation Program (STEP), created by the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), is a multi-agency initiative developed to support the broader implementation of sustainable technologies and practices within a Canadian context.

The STEP life cycle costing tool (LCCT) facilitates the analysis process and allows users to generate realistic, reasonably accurate cost estimates for LID stormwater practices.
