The Guides platform can be evaluated competitively on two different scales:

Format: This is the guide format that includes both the creator's experience (ex: ease of use) and the consumer experience. Most other formats focus either on the creator experience or the design and accessibility for the consumer.

Platform: This is the Guides' platform experience in organizing guides and collaborating with other users. Most other content platforms either focus on supporting isolated communities (a closed community at work, for instance) or on reaching the most people (sites like Youtube or Medium). Guides uniquely combines both.
