User Roles

Similar to permissions, users can have several roles depending on the context:

Section Role Rights
Organisation Member Can access public and open spaces, and/or private spaces they've been invited to. Members can add/remove Guides depending.*
Admin Can manage settings, spaces, and members
Owner Same as admin + upgrading & billing information

* Upgrade to Teams to limit member permissions
Space Member Can access Guides*
Admin Can access, add, edit**, remove Guides and invite and remove people, and set access to the space.
Owner Same as Admin
* Upgrade to Teams to limit member permissions to add / remove Guides and invite people to a Space
** Admins and owners can only edit Guides that are "native" to this Space - not ones that are added to from other Spaces
Guide User A user can be an anonymous or registered user who views a public. Users will need to sign up for Guides to save a guide or join a Space
Member A person who has saved a Guide
Admin Ability to edit information within and about the Guide. Space owners and admins have editor privileges of any Guide that is created within the Space
Owner The owner of the Guide, typically the person who started the Guide, but the owner can be changed
Contributor Any user that has created, edited, or commented on a Guide
