You can create a new guide in a space by clicking 'Create a Guide' button (only members with the appropriate permissions will see this).

When you create a new guide you will need to give it at least a title. You can change the title, description, image and primary space later on in the guide settings.

The primary space is the space in which the guide is originally created. The new guide adopts the member permissions of this space, and is visible to everyone who has access to that space. Also note that in case you want to delete a space there can be no guides in it with the space as its primary space.

It's important to note that administrators from a guides "home channel" have full admin rights, including editing, changing the author and access rights, and even deleting the guide. Therefore, take care to select the right "home channel" for guides you create.

Once you create the guide, it will be in "draft mode" until you click on "publish". While in draft mode, only you and administrators of a channel can see the guide.
