When it comes to costumes there are a few things to remember:

• Makeup trumps masks (apparently a safety issue)
• High heels are out (tripping) - so are giant duck feet
• Skip the capes (strangulation?)
• Wear bright clothing (good bye witch)
• Don't use real swords

In other words think safety and turn down the fun!
