With Hallowe'en candy your child will learn:

• the merits of manipulation - 1 bubble gum is not equal to 3 chocolate bars
• negotiation (better known as whining) - no you can't take 3 treats to school
• selfless sharing - you can have all my black licorice
• the bottom line and how to state it: Not fair! You have more than me!
