This training module is an example of a broader Tenant Liaison & Healthy Advocacy Curriculum, with the intent of ensuring that all project stakeholders see their critical role in building a more climate resilient, healthy and equitable future. This series of training modules looks at various aspect of the building ecosystem to foster awareness and agency in those involved. This sample guide was created as part of the CMHC Solutions Lab examining the critical importance of healthy housing retrofit, and resident are in place, engaging in retrofit activity in a manner limits disruptions and ensures residents are project partners in the process.
Who is this Online Training Module For?
This training is aimed at a new learner to the topic, someone who may be experienced in their field, but new this material. The guide provides a broader introductory context to green building and retrofitting in general, and, draws on 'A field Guide to Retrofits with Residents in Place' to provide an overview of considerations at an introductory level.

In inequity of the housing stock, and the need for safe and healthy housing has never been more clear. The need them for means and methods of engaging in this critical retrofit with residents in place has never been more important.
