The buildings we live in have a significant impact on our environment, for use of natural resources, release of greenhouse gases and demand for power generation. The construction industry can help reduce these impacts through improvements to the building envelope and mechanical systems. This upgrading process is called a 'Deep Energy Retrofit'.
