Testing for air tightness with a blower door reveals how many air changes per hour will occur in the building. A test of over-pressure and under-pressure shows where weak points are.

  • Build tight, ventilate right! The ventilation MUST be planned for with a balanced HVAC and HRV / ERV.
  • Air tightness decreases the amount of moisture that can get into the assembly, making for a longer lasting structure
  • Eliminated moisture in assemblies means minimal condensation, preventing potential mold or material degrading
