With the exciting work planned for 2021 and beyond we want to improve engagement opportunities between the HPSC, contractors, suppliers, manufacturers, government and utilities, and other stakeholders. Engagement includes listening and learning opportunities between groups, as well as advocacy and collaboration. It is also important that BC retrofit contractors have easy access to networking opportunities as the industry grows and whole-home retrofits require sectors to work together.

To encourage more engagement and networking, we are launching a new online space for industry members to gather, connect, and share their ideas.

This space is called Guides and many familiar names and organizations are already part of the community such as: Program Registered Contractors (BC Hydro, Fortis BC, Clean BC), Natural Resources Canada, the Canadian National Building Code, NAIMA, Canadian Homebuilders' Association, BC Housing, Building Knowledge Canada, and more.
