Windows include skylights, tubular daylighting devices, glass blocks and sliding glass doors (patio doors). Sliding glass doors are modeled as windows to account for the proper frame thickness in the HOT2000 calculations. Glazing in door systems such as door lights, side lights and transoms are also modeled as windows but must be modeled in the door system in which they are installed.
