When you've collected all of the components of your application,
be sure to submit your application with all of the supporting
details:
- Your contact details: Provide an email and phone number that
are not your work contact details if you are
currently employed.
- The position: Make sure to specify which position you are
applying for. Typically, these will be advertised positions that
you should reference. If your application is intended for a
position that the agency is not advertising, then describe how you
would benefit the organization by filling the position you intend.
You don't need to apply only for open positions, but if you're
trying to make your own position, be sure to detail it.
- Salary expectations: Not every application requires you to
disclose your salary expectations, but it's something that we
typically request up-front. This is just an exercise to be sure
that the candidate is looking for a position in-line with the
salary we have budgeted, and to get a sense of how highly they
price their own skills. You may have your own reasons to not
disclose salary expectations right away, but it does streamline the
process for the hiring manager.
