If you can't meet in person, I'd recommend using Skype and then recording the conversation for later use and maybe even including it in the post. I'm pretty old-school, so I actually have an audio recorder running by my speakers.

If you're using Windows, I'd hear good things about //www.pamela.biz/en/, which you can use to record your Skype conversations (it's free!). If you're on Mac, there is no free alternative, but the best value is //www.ecamm.com/mac/callrecorder/.
