The first step is to quickly outline the structure of your Guide using Sections (as major groupings of thematic steps or items) and Pages (as specific action items or steps to accomplish in order to complete the guide).
Don't be concerned about how long it should be or what the actual content will be, just outline your formula or process for the subject matter, or anything that comes to mind.
If you aren't sure about sections just yet, just add all the Pages you can think of and you can organize them later as a logical or chronological order begins to emerge. As we saw earlier, the Guide Builder navigation is drag and drop so you can quickly re-organize your ideas and approach.
