When people search Google (or the internet) for solutions, they're either after something short and simple, or something more complex. Google does a great job of finding relevant information for the first case, but often times you'll need to dig deeper and spend lots of time piecing together information for the latter.
Guides are meant to provide someone with a complete approach to a problem and help them achieve a solution. They should be "go-to" resource packed with detailed information, worksheets, tools, and anything else the reader might need to achieve a specific result.
