It's easy: Add a countdown clock to yout emails: go to motionmailapp.com and set up a moving timer (it's free).
These timers are embeddable GIFs and they will instantly capture the attention of your funders. Instead of another static campaign, it is now dynamic and time sensitive!
Bonus: As much as you can, build a sense of urgency into your story. For me, I used my birthday, which obviously only lasts one day, so the window to give was naturally narrow.
