Your garden is plotted and you know what you want to grow.
Time to start planting.
Organic seeds are readily available from retail stores, online order, or best of all, from a neighboring organic gardener's previous crop. Whether starting from seeds or starts, many plants can be sprouted indoors in trays or small pots before the winter is over and transferred outdoors after the danger of frost is passed.
Seek out specific instructions for each type of plant you are planning to cultivate. Seed bags will tell you how deep to plant the seed, the distance a seed should be planted from other seeds and how to care for the new sprouts.
