The Most Effective Goal Setting Plan On The Planet

The 7 steps to making your every goal a reality have been available to every single one us forever. Now is the time to start using their synergy to transform your body into a ripped, lean human machine. Let's go through the steps . . .

(1) Set specific goals - Losing weight is not a goal. Going from 23 to 19% body-fat is a goal. Don't make it meaningless, make it focused.

(2) Make your goals measurable - if you can't measure your progress toward your goal in some way, you'll never know if you're heading towards it. A fat loss goal is measurable if you have a set of scales that calculates your body fat percentage or if you can use calipers to measure your body fat levels.

(3) Aim high - Take a lesson from Arnold who began telling others that he would be the best in the world at bodybuilding before he even knew that what he was doing was called bodybuilding. Remember, there are never unrealistic goals - only unrealistic timelines.

(4) Establish deadlines that are realistic - You cannot lose more than 2 pounds of pure fat in a week. Anything over that will be muscle, water, vitamins and minerals - and you need to keep all of that stuff! So be realistic.

(5) Create stepping stone goals - You'd eat an elephant one piece at a time, right? So, the way to achieve you big goal is to break it down into smaller goals that are more easily achievable, but that build upon one another toward the attainment of your major goal. You should have daily goals that revolve around your workouts and eating pattern, weekly goals involving not missing scheduled eating and training sessions, 3 monthly goals that involve your body fat percentage and yearly goals that involve attaining a certain photographic look.

(6) Create emotional urges - If you have a strong enough why, you can achieve virtually anything. So create the why - and make it compelling. Ask yourself why it's important that you reach your goal and how will your life be different and better after you've reached it. The answers to these questions will provide the emotional fire to fuel your goals.

(7) Write down your goals - yes, all of them, but carry your 3 monthly goal with you and repeat it to yourself up to 7 times per day.
