This kind of practice while sitting still, can help us to become more mindful in our daily tasks. We can become more mindful of how our emotions and thoughts become engaged in different tasks throughout our day.

We can become more mindful of how our body moves while we are sitting, walking or performing other activities. We can become mindful of sounds that come and go in our world.

As in other forms of meditations you can use visualization to enhance the practice at times.
